The London office of our client, a premium US firm, is actively looking to add to their highly regarded US Capital Markets practice.
Their London Corporate Finance team is the largest of the firm’s M&A teams outside the US, and they are very much at the centre of European, transatlantic and emerging markets investing. The team advises on a broad range of transactions in the mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and secondaries arenas. Clients include strategic, private equity, and fund clients and the diet of work is complex, cross-border, and multi-national.
Due to a strong and growing pipeline, the team is looking for an additional mid-level US Securities Associate to work on big US IPOs. Although the main focus of this role will be US capital markets work, you would also have the opportunity to do a mix of M&A and securities work in the long-term if that was of interest.
To be considered for this role you will be a US (probably New York)-qualified lawyer with 2-6 years’ post admission US Securities experience, gained from the US or a US practice elsewhere in the world. You will have studied at a high quality law school, have a strong academic background, a high level of intellectual rigour, and be able and willing to work in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment.
This position attracts market-leading remuneration. For solicitors with appropriate experience based abroad, an excellent sponsorship and relocation package will also be available.
