Logistics cargoship

Trading/Commercial Litigation Associate

Our client acts for some of the largest energy, commodity traders, and natural resources companies in the world. The successful candidate will have qualified as a solicitor or barrister in England & Wales.

In order to be considered for this role you will have:

  • Strong academics and a genuine interest, experience, and aptitude for complex commercial litigation’
  • Excellent legal ability, initiative, and attention to detail;
  • Strong technical skills, and confidence in managing and prioritising a full and varied caseload;

Experience of working on contentious commodities trading matters would be highly valued as would a background (either contentious or non-contentious) in energy, renewables, shipping,  or construction. Fluency in at least one European language would be advantageous, and a barrister looking to move to a law firm would absolutely be considered.
