This growing but still collegiate and entrepreneurial UK headquartered law firm will provide a supportive platform from their Singapore office.
Although experience gained in Asia and knowledge of the Singapore market would be highly desirable, more important is good general banking and finance training and technical skills as well as an eye for developments in physical commodities markets and international trade. A book of business would be advantageous, but otherwise a strong network in the commodities business and appetite for business development will be of keen interest. To this end, relocation is on offer and applications from in-house lawyers, as well as private practice lawyers at Partner or Senior Associate level will be welcomed. Experience gained in Asia, Middle East, or Europe will be beneficial but England & Wales admission and common law experience is a requirement.
