Technical Consultant

Our client are highly respected business and technology experts, providing professional services firms unprecedented software, strategic consulting, and technical expertise to strengthen business performance. Due to rapid growth, they are now looking to recruit a Technical Consultant / Intapp Specialist.

As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions to complex business problems. The Consultant will work directly with clients to establish technical requirements, document specifications, develop and test client specific solutions and deliver them. 

Responsibilities will include some of the following:

  • Assisting in managing the technical delivery of business solutions built upon market-leading products (such as Intapp Intake, Conflicts, Flow, Walls via Intapp Integrate Appliance or Dell Boomi)
  • Educating customers on technical best practices for optimum delivery of business solutions
  • Contributing to the analysis of customer needs and implementation recommendations
  • Working closely with project team members such as the Project Manager, the Business Consultant, and other Technical Consultants to deliver the solution
  • Designing and implementing forms and workflow processes utilising Intapp application
  • Documenting technical requirements and the solution to be developed
  • Facilitating agreement of appropriate software solutions with the users and technical teams
  • Assisting Business Consultants to gain agreement with the client on how existing features andor functionality will be deployed or modified
  • Designing appropriate testing plans as needed for forms and workflow solutions

Skill and experience required will include:

  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Intapp Intake or other New Business Intake Form/Workflow platform
  • Experience in SQL development or SQL Scripting
  • Knowledge of Web Services (RESTful and SOAP API frameworks)
  • Working knowledge of law firm financial systems such as Aderant, Elite 3E or similar
  • Well-developed communication and inter-personal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, senior management, IT and Business Support users alike
  • Exceptional critical thinking, judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Although this is a remote role and can be based from home, the may be a need to travel to client sites as and when required. 
  • Familiarity with the complete project cycle, from presenting the initial business case, to post implementation review
