Shipping Litigation Lawyer

The specialist team covers all areas of shipping law, providing high quality, pragmatic commercial advice on matters relating to admiralty and crisis management, dry shipping, and transactional work, and their long-standing client base across the sector reflects this market precedence, including major shipowners, charterers, shipyards, Hull, P&I and FD&D insurers, pool operators, brokers, banks and investment funds.

A role has arisen in the London office for a 1-4 PQE shipping litigation Associate, ideally with significant experience in dry shipping matters. In order to be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Gained high quality training and 1-4 years’ PQE in shipping disputes (ideally with a focus on dry shipping matters) from a City, international, of specialist boutique law firm;
  • Received relevant ‘hands-on’ experience of contentious matters within the maritime sector, and have well-developed client management skills;
  • A proactive, inquisitive approach;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and sound time/case management skills; and
  • A strong academic record
