Senior Solution Consultant, US/UK

A leading, global software provider is looking to hire a senior solution consultant on a permanent basis. This role can be based in the US or UK and the main purpose will be to drive prospect engagements and be accountable for all product and technical evaluations within a sales territory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Shaping and organising engagements across the technical sales team.
  • Assessing and shaping the prospect engagement model.
  • Constructing a solution that maximizes the customer benefits.
  • Assisting in account strategy and account planning.
  • Building and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of all products.
  • Engaging as a solution consultant for specific product areas.
  • Communicating the solution advantages to the prospect.
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape.

Required skills and experience:

  • Enterprise architecting experience.
  • Technically adept, including the ability to redesign presentations and configure applications.
  • A strong understanding of business issues relating to enterprise software.
  • Professional services experience preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high integrity.
  • Experience with cloud technology and security protocols.

To be considered for this role, you need to possess strong writing and speaking communication skills and the ability to build and develop excellent relationships with customers. Also essential is the desire to design, build and present compelling presentations.
