A global bank is presently hiring a senior privacy lawyer in Singapore to act as a key advisor on privacy and data protection laws and regulations across the Asia Pacific region. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will lead workstreams to analyse the key implications of emerging and existing privacy laws that impact the region and provide strategic risk mitigation efforts relating to privacy. Applicants would ideally be based in Singapore and have significant experience in leading complex negotiations on privacy matters.
Successful candidates will possess:
- A JD or international law degree and IAPP certifications.
- A minimum of 7PQE, with at least 3 years in advising on privacy.
- Demonstrated knowledge of privacy and data protection laws in the Asia Pacific region.
- Superb interpersonal skills to build internal relationships positively drive change through collaboration.
