Senior Business Development – Virtual Law Firm

An established full-service virtual law firm registered in New York and BVI is looking to hire a senior business development manager to oversee the growth strategy of their legal outsourcing division. Established in 2015, they are well-recognised as a specialist in litigation and transactional work, and legal operations outsourcing.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 10-15 years of experience, who has strong business acumen and worked in the legal or professional services sector. This is a fully remote role.

The Role:

  • Managing the complete sales cycle of the legal operations outsourcing division.
  • Demonstrating a solid knowledge of business process outsourcing (BPO) services, particularly within the legal and finance/business solutions market.
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitors in the legal industry.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand services with private equity firms, and other funds management firms
  • Collaborating with legal professionals to create compelling proposals and presentations
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and market insights to provide valuable advice to both clients and candidates.

To Qualify:

  • 10+ years of proven track record in business-to-business sales
  • In-depth knowledge of private equity and other funds, as well as outsourcing alternative legal services  
  • Solid understanding of outsourced solutions or similar offerings to mid to large financial services organisations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Driven, self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Thrives in an autonomous and entrepreneurial work settings.
