Our client is a leading diversified manufacturing consortium in the Middle East. Due to steadily increasing growth, they are looking to hire a Procurement/Commercial Counsel with 4-7 years’ experience of commercial contract law and procurement work in the context of major projects, to work in either their Jubail, Saudi Arabia, facility or Riyadh headquarters.
In this role, you will be responsible for advising the company and its’ affiliates on, and negotiating, a broad range of procurement-related transactions (non-contentious and contentious) related primarily to purchase orders/commercial contracts.
To be successful in your application, you will ideally:
- Be educated and legally qualified in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and holding an advanced law degree (additional international legal studies and/or qualifications would be highly regarded);
- Have gained 4-7 years’ experience post-qualification in working on commercial contracts relating to large scale procurement and projects (in particular EPC/EPCM arrangements), almost certainly in-house;
- Most likely be currently employed in-house within a similar business in a legal role focused on commercial/procurement matters.

Remuneration: SAR 30,000-50,000 per month (plus generous allowances)
