A leading UK and international law firm with 140+ partners and over 850 people in total, which provides high quality legal advice tailored to both businesses and individuals. With 7 UK offices and headquarters in the City of London, and growing overseas from Asia to South America through their presence in Singapore, Piraeus, Paris, and Madrid. Are looking for a Reporting and BI Analyst.
Purpose of the role:
You will be a reporting analyst working with stakeholders from around the firm to identity reporting needs, work with those stakeholders to design reports and dashboards/visualisations to meet their requirements, work with IT to ensure that systems are able to produce these reports and visualisations and finally build and maintain those reports and dashboards/visualisations.
Key responsibilities:
- Working with stakeholders to determine their reporting requirements.
- Designing reports and dashboards/visualisations to meet those requirements.
- Working with IT to build the infrastructure to deliver those reports and dashboards/visualisations.
- Building reports using tools such as Excel, Cognos and PowerBI.
- Continually improving those reports, dashboard/visualisations.
- Documenting reports, dashboards/visualisations for Support.
- Working with stakeholders to define data strategy
- Working with stakeholders to improve data quality and data integrity.
- Undertaking other tasks as required.
skills required:
- Experience of Microsoft SQL, data warehouses and data lakes, OLAP cubes, Cognos, Excel and Power BI.
- Requirements gathering and business analysis experience.
- Attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Experience within a legal environment
