A leading UK law firm with offices located throughout the country, are looking for a Real Estate/Projects paralegal in their London office. The role is permanent and will involve assisting the team on various transactions including day to day asset management work for residential transactions and statutory agreements.
Our client is looking for someone who has strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail combined with good experience in managing their own conveyancing caseload. The role will specialise in a number of key areas from undertaking sales and purchases of street properties for a number of key clients, to undertaking residential lease extensions acting for both landlord and tenant (both voluntary and statutory) and assisting in tenanted portfolio sales and purchases. There will also be opportunities to be involved in other work within the real estate team from time to time.
The role will also involve assisting fee earners in relation to post-completion requirements, submitting registration applications to HMLR, and dealing with requisitions raised by HMLR. It is highly desirable that applicants have experience of completing SDLT returns, and drafting/reporting on contracts and other documentation.
Candidates must possess excellent academics, including a good law degree (min:2:1 or equivalent), and excellent IT and organisational skills.
Ideally, a minimum 2 years’ continuous experience in a similar role is required.
