Real Estate Finance Associate – Washington, DC

We are looking to speak with experienced real estate Associate Attorneys to join our client’s well regarded and busy real estate and finance practice groups in Washington, DC.

Annual salary: $240,000 – $350,000.

This is a progressive opportunity to counsel clients on a broad range of business, real estate, and affordable housing matters.

You will represent lenders, owners, developers, and investors in the acquisition, disposition, development, construction, and financing of commercial real estate projects.

You will also represent lenders, for-profit and nonprofit developers and sponsors, project owners, tax credit syndicators, and investors in the negotiation of the acquisition, equity investment, joint venture ownership, and financing aspects of transactions, and navigate clients through income and rent restrictions affecting affordable housing projects. 

If you are experienced in negotiating and closing complex commercial real estate finance transactions, and structured and mezzanine finance transactions, including rated and securitized debt obligations, multiple sources of funding and subsidies, including tax-exempt municipal bonds, low-income housing tax credits, construction loans, conventional bank loans, equity investments, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac agency-insured loans, and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-insured loans, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your practice.
