Professional Support Lawyer (Real Estate) – Manchester – Permanent
We are looking to attract a Professional Support Lawyer to join the Real Estate Team at DWF, an award-winning global legal business on a permanent basis.
The Professional Support Lawyer can be based from any of our regional offices and will contribute to the delivery of the Practice Group and DWF’s overall strategy, driving forwards DWF’s innovation agenda.
Reporting to the Head of Real Estate, you will provide legal advice based on precedents and ad hoc research as well as bi-monthly updates/training on changes to the law. As a Professional Support Lawyer you will also horizon scan what is coming up in the next 6 to 12 months and maintain and develop your own research bank.
Working with the Real Estate Innovation Group and our Managed Services and Connected Services divisions, you will also manage and develop the Practice Group’s existing knowledge and will coordinate and support the technical capability and business excellence of the lawyers within it for delivering innovation to our clients.
As a result of growth, this external facing role represents an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Lawyer (5 – 10 years PQE) with a Real Estate background to work with the Real Estate Innovation Group and internal services to drive our innovation agenda, including the adoption of new products (such as artificial intelligence and other Proptech products) to improve our client services and the efficiency of fee earners.
The successful incumbent will be granted the autonomy to set the initiative and should find that the work is non-repetitive and that the remit to their role is very broad.

We are seeking an outgoing, confident and approachable individual who has strong analytical and research skills and is well organised for prioritising tasks. You will be dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders and the position requires quite a lot of quality control and a continuous improvement focus.
