Our award-winning client is looking to offer the opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join their Private Wealth team in their Lymington office, with a focus on Rural Law.
The team is growing and transforming to provide a Hampshire offering to new and existing clients. The role will involve managing your own Private Wealth caseload from beginning to end and working with the wider Private Wealth team across Hampshire, with the opportunity to grow your career whilst gaining experience alongside a leading specialist Partner. In addition to this, you will also assist other senior associates and ultra-high-net-worth clients including landed estates, farmers, and families.
They are looking for a forward-thinking individual who is ready to set an example and help develop the department as they increase their client offering to the Hampshire market. Within this role, the team specialise in succession planning, asset protection, heritage law and tax advice. Key responsibilities would consist of drafting complex wills, farming partnerships, inheritance, and capital gains planning. Great business development and marketing is essential for this role, as this will raise the firm’s profile as well as your own. There will also be the expectation that you assist with the installation and streamlining of processes within the team, with a focus on the intake of work, allocation, and billing.
Our client is offering a hybrid working model where you can work in the office 2/3 days a week and the rest from home, providing a strong work/life balance.
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2-6 years’ PQE and experience in dealing with rural private client matters. The ideal candidate will also have experience in dealing with high-net-worth matters, however this is not essential. Having a proactive and enthusiastic approach is essential, with the ambition to develop your own personal growth as well as the departments.
