An elite NY law firm client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced private equity lawyer with 3-4 years of PQE to join its London office. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, representing international private equity sponsors, institutional investors, alternative asset managers, senior management teams, founders, investee companies, and other international corporates across a range of sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Handling a diverse range of transactional and advisory matters related to complex cross-border M&A and private equity transactions.
- Providing legal counsel and strategic guidance to clients on various matters, including deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and documentation.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to successfully execute transactions.
- Drafting and reviewing legal agreements, contracts, and other transactional documents.
Requirements:
- Ideally, England & Wales qualified lawyer with 3-4 years of PQE gained at a rated private equity practice in the City.
- Strong experience in handling complex cross-border M&A and private equity transactions.
- Proven track record of working with international private equity sponsors, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a team, and independently.
- Flexibility to handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
