This is a direct mandate from the Partners in the rated Private Client group at a superb London firm. Our client law firm has a superb reputation in a number of practice areas but places private wealth at the core of what it does. This specific opportunity is for an experienced private client lawyer who may not see their long-term future in their current role and is seeking genuinely excellent work, a team-focused culture and career progression.
You will be joining a group that provides a distinct point of difference from some other groups and is very welcoming and supportive. The team is well-structured across senior, mid and junior levels but with a clear need for this hire. The work quality is right up there with the largest private client groups and many lawyers have joined from tier 1 and tier 2 firms. Clients are UHNW and HNW and more than half of the work will have international elements. This position will involve a broad range of high-end private client work across tax, trusts and estates.
The ideal candidate for this role will have between six and twelve years’ PQE and have current or previous experience with a rated London or national private client team. Of key importance is solid experience of ‘international’ private client; this should include including advising resident non-doms in the UK and some familiarity with the non-dom rules and offshore trusts.
This role also offers a competitive salary, flexibility and reasonable hours.
