We are seeking experienced and talented Mid to Senior Level Planning Lawyers to join an alternative legal service provider in London, that currently has a need for a planning lawyer with experience in infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on high-profile and complex infrastructure projects with our esteemed client.
Responsibilities:
- Providing expert legal advice and guidance on planning and permitting matters related to large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Conducting due diligence and assessing regulatory and environmental issues impacting project development.
- Drafting and reviewing planning agreements, section 106 agreements, and other legal documents.
- Advising clients on compliance with planning regulations, zoning laws, and governmental policies.
- Representing clients in planning inquiries, appeals, and negotiations with relevant authorities.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure project success.
- Staying updated on relevant legislation, case law, and industry trends impacting infrastructure projects.
Requirements:
- England & Wales qualified lawyer with a strong background in planning law.
- Significant experience in handling planning matters related to big infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in advising clients on complex planning and permitting issues.
- Solid understanding of environmental regulations, zoning laws, and governmental policies.
- Strong project management abilities with the capability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
