Our client are a leading UK firm who are seeking a junior Pensions Solicitor with 0-2 years’ post-qualification experience to join their busy and expanding team in Birmingham.

The team support clients in finding legal solutions to their pensions issues and effectively manage their schemes using clear, straightforward advice and offering specialist expertise. They advise employers, trustees, financial institutions and pensions providers on all aspects of pensions law including pension law compliance, governance and risk, scheme documentation, Trustee resolutions and other deeds, pensions disputes, liaising with the Pensions Regulator, pensions aspects of M&A transactions, and providing ad hoc advice to Trustees.

In order to be considered for this role you will need to have experience in pensions law gained in your training contract or as up to two years’ post-qualification experience. You will assist on a range of matters from the day-to-day advisory work to one-off projects, so it is important that you have solid drafting, problem solving, communication, organisational and time management skills. As a junior solicitor within this pensions team you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, so it is important that you are highly motivated and driven and have the desire to establish and develop client relationships from early on in your career.
