Patent Prosecution (Tech) Junior Associate – Silicon Valley

Our client, a truly global, full-service law firm is looking to hire a junior associate in its growing IP Litigation team in Silicon Valley.

The team successfully represents technology companies, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to Silicon Valley startups, across their life cycle from early stage start-ups to leading businesses.

The team represents clients before the USPTO on issues related to U.S. Patent Law (specifically 35 U.S.C. 101, 112, 102, and 103); reviews patent applications and issued patents relating to technology covering social media networks, computer networks, autonomous vehicles, storage devices, and semiconductors. Candidates will ideally have experience with drafting appeal briefs before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board for technologies related to computer networks, and post grant review petitions; preparing and prosecuting patent applications in technologies relating to AI/ML, Internet of Things, smart phone applications, autonomous vehicles, computer networks, network attached storage devices, and semiconductor and insurance related technologies.
