Our client, a leader in both energy and tech, is seeking a growth hire in its world-renowned Patent Litigation team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have 3 – 8 years of experience in patent litigation.
The team works on IP litigation, including patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation. The team handles cases involving electronics, software, and medical devices. The team handles challenges to the validity of patents in reexaminations and Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings in parallel to litigation. They have tried cases in federal court and the International Trade Commission (ITC) and appealed cases to the Federal Circuit and Ninth Circuit.

Target hours are 2000 including 200 pro bono hours plus 100 D&I; market rate pay.
The ideal applicant will have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or physics (or equivalent work experience, including in software and programming). Must have excellent academic records, a passion for litigation, and excellent writing and analytical abilities. Patent Bar registration preferred. Candidates must be qualified in California.
