A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly-qualified and experienced Paralegal to join a market-leading global company based in Saudi Arabia. This lucrative position sits within their Corporate Secretariat function, in either the Capital Markets or Secretariat & Governance area.
The role will involve supporting Attorneys and other legal professionals in the department on a broad spectrum of matters that confront such a company of our client’s size. Specific duties will include drafting documents and maintaining minute books, reviewing, analysing and organising corporate documents for various corporate and financial transactions, conducting research, organising, maintaining and archiving files in the document management system, along with a host of general paralegal and administrative tasks.
Applicants will have a good law degree from a leading University, and it is preferable that they have additional Paralegal Certification from a recognised National organisation. However, Arabic linguistic skills (although welcome) are not required for this role.
Applicants will have a vast wealth of relevant Paralegal experience (6+ years), gained within a law firm or large corporation. This experience does not necessarily need to have been attained in Saudi Arabia.
Experience in the oil and gas, refining, chemicals, power or other energy-related industries is a distinct advantage.
It is imperative that applicants are willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia, and prior experience in the region is highly preferred.
