Paralegal – Corporate Compliance (In-House) – Saudi Arabia

A unique opportunity has arisen for a highly-qualified and experienced Paralegal to join a market-leading global company based in Saudi Arabia. This lucrative position sits within their Corporate Compliance Department.

The role will involve supporting the performance of legal activities within the department, and assist with assigned attorneys in the performance of their duties. Specifically, duties will include preparing and reviewing draft documents, reviewing, and analysing corporate documents for various corporate and financial transactions, conducting research, document management, and various other Paralegal and administrative tasks.

Applicants will have a good law degree from a leading University, and it is preferable that they have additional Paralegal Certification from a recognised National organisation. However, Arabic linguistic skills (although welcome) are not required for this role.

Applicants will have a vast wealth of relevant Paralegal experience (8+ years), gained within a law firm or in-house practice. This experience does not necessarily need to have been attained in Saudi Arabia.

Experience in the oil and gas, refining, chemicals, power or other energy-related industries is a distinct advantage. Direct experience with US and EU export licensing requirements and global trade controls operations is preferable, as is experience with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS).

It is imperative that applicants are willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia, and prior experience in the region is highly preferred.
