Media Disputes Lawyer, 3 month FTC – London

We are currently working with a commercial firm in London’s West End who are looking to secure a Media Disputes Lawyer for a contract of at least 3 months. Broadly speaking, the team advise claimant and defendant clients on privacy, defamation, libel and reputation management matters. Increasingly they are instructed on matters involving online publication and social media.

Due to a strong flow of work, the team are keen to bring on board a Media Disputes lawyer with (ideally) circa 4-7 years’ PQE for a contract of at least 3 months in duration. Whilst the contract is initially for 3 months, there is a significant chance of further extension or permanency, if desired by both parties.

Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate:

  • Ideally between 4-7 years’ PQE in handling a full range of Media Disputes and reputation management matters
  • Experience gained within a leading media disputes team within a top tier regional, West End or City firm

  • A client-first mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team
  • A genuine enthusiasm for furthering a career in media disputes law
  • The ability to start a new role at short notice

This is a unique opportunity where the successful individual will work within a highly ranked and well-respected team alongside market leading Partners within the media disputes field.
