Further to Jameson Legal placing a solicitor into this firm’s Media Disputes team, we have a new, direct instruction from our client, on a Media Litigation role at the 1-5 PQE level in London.
The department represents a large number of individuals, ranging from senior politicians to actors/actresses, to talent agents. Lawyers act in high-profile libel and privacy precedent-setting cases, which regularly reach the High Court.
Specialist practice areas include Defamation, Privacy, Breach of confidence and Data protection, Harassment and Online abuse and Reputation Management.
You will be expected to liaise closely and to develop relationships with both clients and leading barristers in this specialist field and will be expected to become involved in business development (and credit will be given for your efforts). You will have the support of the Partners, but those at the more senior level will also be expected to supervise and instruct junior colleagues as part of a friendly and hard-working team working in this fast-paced area of law.
The suitable candidate will either have already gained Media Disputes experience or will be a Commercial Litigator with a strong interest in Media law.
