We are directly instructed on a confidential opportunity for an experienced litigator to play a major role at a growing, successful firm in the Caribbean. This is a truly fantastic opportunity to be based in a location with a world-class standard of living, amazing beaches, and offering high salaries with obvious tax benefits.
Our client is a highly-respected offshore law firm. This new instruction is a hire strategically designed to grow the firm’s litigation capability. You will be joining an established team and working closely with the lead partner on a wide range of disputes, including commercial, insolvency, funds, trusts and other areas.
Suitable applicants will have experience in either a rated London or national UK or offshore national law firm, or in a rated Chambers. No offshore experience is sought for those joining at Counsel level, and there are excellent career prospects. However, we would expect a lawyer joining straight into the partnership to have developed their own offshore practice.
You should have a stable career history and good experience in general commercial litigation. Some insolvency experience is an advantage. You should also be willing to turn your hand to a variety of disputes. Good advocacy experience is essential.
Net take-home pay is at large City firm level.
