Our client, a fantastic midmarket law firm with international offices, is looking to expand its growing Litigation team in Dallas. Ideal candidates will have 2 to 4 years’ experience in a strong complex commercial litigation team.
The team specializes in business dispute litigation, assisting clients with corporate governance, compliance, and dealing with issues typical to business disputes. They have litigated issues of first impression. The team comprises experienced trial lawyers who understand broad business implications and can draw on the firm’s multidisciplinary teams in industries such as financial services, accounting, insurance, real estate, eDiscovery and entertainment to devise creative and efficient strategies. Their clientele includes national and multinational corporations, law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, advertising agencies, architectural firms, and artists, for whom the team regularly appear before regulatory and self-regulatory organizations.

There are no official target hours at this firm, however most offices expect around 2000 hours to be eligible for the bonuses, which includes 100 pro bono, 50 DE&I and 25 community service hours (so 1825 billable hours). This is negotiable and some associates have been able to include far above 100 pro bono hours in their targets, and everyone is encouraged to do as much pro bono as they would like to.
This firm has also ranked very highly for its DE&I initiatives, particularly with regard to the percentage of female Partners in the firm. The culture can be described as small, tight-knit, nerdy and fun, with things like board game nights and themed socials being on the regular.
Candidates must be licensed in Texas. Federal clerkships are a plus.
