Jameson Legal is instructed on a new opportunity for an associate to join our international client’s European team in London, to focus on Leveraged Finance. The role will involve working on a wide range of UK and European Leveraged Finance matters and given the breadth of the practice, the candidate will need to have the ability and the desire to turn their hand to a range of work, acting for private credit funds, banks and sponsors.
Team members of all levels are expected to engage in business development activities, including organising and attending larger set-piece marketing events, as well as more ad hoc/ opportunistic meetings. The role will suit someone for whom client networking and the promotion and development of the Finance practice (and the firm more broadly), comes naturally.
The firm is looking for candidates who want to work in a highly collaborative and non-hierarchical environment and who are motivated by delivering a top tier service for clients, whilst helping to develop business and provide input on training, marketing, knowledge management and other non-transactional activities.
The suitable candidate will be qualified or dual qualified to practise law in England and Wales.
