Legal Technologist

Our client is a boutique law firm based in the heart of central London, and they are looking for an experienced Legal Technologist to join their growing innovation team at a very exciting point in the firm’s innovation journey.

As one of the first specialists in the team, you will have the ability to help shape the future strategy for this team and the firm’s overall innovation journey. Opportunities like this don’t come up very often, and we are keen to hear from candidates with the following experience:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role either in a law firm, in-house legal team or consultancy.
  • Experience of working with a broad variety of legal technology including document automation, e-signature, e-discovery, contract management and contract review is prerequisite.
  • Has successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience of working with Lawyers and understanding challenges/bottlenecks and pain points.
  • Familiar with running demos and pilots of new tech to create successful proof of concepts.
  • Analyse data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented Legal Technology solutions and monitor adoption.

Skills needed to be suitable for this role:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, ability to communicate with busy and time poor legal professionals is vital.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to translate technical languages to non tech people.
  • Consultative approach.
  • Collegiate approach, as collaboration with other teams in the firm in essential.
  • Flexible working approach, being open and responsible to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at any one time.
