Legal HR Business Partner – Saudi Arabia

An international energy and chemical company is seeking an HR Business Partner to join its growing HR legal team. The role involves a combination of strategic and operational. Reporting to the Head of Law Department, you will be working with legal department heads to ensure the effective recruitment, development, and retention of legal professionals, while also ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and ethical standards.

The ideal candidate must have over ten years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably in a legal setting, and have an in-depth knowledge of labour laws and employment regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HRBP, who has a strong understanding of both HR principles and the legal industry. The role would include handling project development, talent acquisition and retention.

You will be required to perform the following:

  • Collaborate with other HR teams, legal experts and other stakeholders to address legal issues related to employment, workforce management and organisational policies.
  • Identify, attract and hire qualified legal professionals to meet the department’s staffing needs.
  • Responsibility for the full employee life cycle from candidate attraction, recruitment, onboarding and employee engagement.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the legal industry, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department head.
