An investment arm of a local entity is looking to add to its legal team based in Abu Dhabi.
Our client is seeking to hire a Legal Counsel, who will report directly to the Chief Legal Counsel. Key responsibilities include working on international transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic transactions. Other areas include negotiating various types of investment-related contracts, including SPAs as well as NDAs, and you will also be expected to draft IP & technology contracts too.
Applicants should be qualified in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the US. They should have at least 5 years’ PQE gained in a reputable law firm. It is essential that you are fluent and have exposure to drafting contracts in Arabic. Experience of working in the UAE would be an advantage.
Salary: £120K – £140K tax free + benefits.
