This is an awesome opportunity to advise clients on labor and employment matters from a perspective that connects their dynamic labor and human resources needs with affirmative strategies. You will have the opportunity to provide counsel with respect to state and federal employment law compliance, including employment law issues involving the FMLA, ADA, FLSA and OSHA. You will advise employers in matters involving employee discipline, wrongful termination, defamation, retaliation, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour claims, leave-related issues and other employment-related matters.
You will work with seasoned attorneys with substantial jury trial experience, recognized for obtaining defense verdicts in discrimination and retaliation lawsuits across the country.
With a robust non-compete practice, you will be able to diversify your practice. This group has assisted employers in drafting non-compete agreements on a state-by-state basis, enforcing non-compete agreements by way of obtaining injunctive relief, and defending the company and new employees against claims of breach of non-compete agreements with prior employers.
