IT Support Specialist

Want to join a law firm where the culture is unique, and they don’t have a fixed holiday allowance?

Our client is looking for a pro-active IT Support Specialist to provide timely and accurate training and support to all colleagues. You will need to be a team player, looking to work within a small team and keen to find and work on new challenges.

The role will include:

  • Providing user desktop support across the firm for their Office 365, Windows 10/11 software, Oyez forms, and SOS case management system.
  • Setting up new users on active directory and 365.
  • Making sure all users have working kit and the spares are always ready to be used.
  • Monitoring and resolving system alerts.
  • Building laptops.
  • Setting up iPhones for new users.
  • Ensuring that all staff receive the necessary induction training and continue working with our systems on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintaining asset registers.
  • Creation and maintenance of user guides and IT team notes including detailed system configuration documentation and document system changes.
  • Updating WordPress.
  • Updating the intranet.

You should also show a willingness to provide technical support to other team members and to take on ad hoc tasks within the IT Department as and when required.

To be successful in your application you will need to show a good working knowledge of:

  • Windows 10/11
  • Experience of working with, training, and supporting Microsoft Office 365 software
  • Experience of working with training and supporting legal content, practice, and document management systems.
  • Office 365 Administration
  • Active Directory administration and permissions
  • Hyper-V 2019 administration
  • Meraki Mobile Device Management

The ideal candidate will need to be able to comfortably travel to their office based in London.
