International Trade Associate – Washington, DC

Our client, a fantastic firm well-known for its diversity and culture, is seeking a strategic growth hire for its busy international trade team in Washington, DC.

A strong academic record, interest in direct contact with clients, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment is required. Domestic and overseas travel is also required, and fluency in French is preferred, but not essential.

In addition, the team provides legal and strategic advice regarding the implications of US economic sanctions and export controls.

This is a midwestern firm that truly takes diversity seriously. They believe a diverse workforce brings about different perspectives, richer thinking, and more creative solutions to the challenges their clients face. As such, they have very beneficial policies around parental leave, working from home, flexible working arrangements and maternity concerns.

Even before the pandemic, this firm offered flexible working policies including remote working.
