The department is now seeking an Intellectual Property Associate or Senior Associate to join their growing team. Both the firm and the department are well recognised across the legal directories.
The department handles a full range of IP matters, from; IP rights (including trademarks and passing off), right in designs, rights in confidential information, and copyright & database rights. The expertise of the team extends to wider media-related issues. This includes trade libel & malicious falsehood, false & misleading advertising, comparative advertising, and the removal of material from 3rd party online forums, like social media or competitor websites.
The entire IP team handles both contentious and non-contentious Intellectual Property matters. The team’s client base includes start-ups, SMEs, and multi-national clients, from consumer goods and fashion, retail, leisure & hospitality, manufacturing, and construction industries.
The firm is renowned for its collaborative approach. With the IP department, the incoming IP Associate/Senior Associate can expect to work with other departments including corporate, commercial, employment, and other specialist litigation teams (including commercial litigation, fraud, property, and construction).
