The team advises insurers on all aspects of coverage matters concerning specialty lines and management liability. The team also counsels co-op boards, including reviewing and proposing amendments to proprietary leases, house rules, and by-laws. Further, it advises on the reallocation and reissuance of shares and provides representation in real estate closings. The main areas of practice in the team include:
- Shareholder derivative actions
- Insurance coverage disputes concerning D&O, E&O, EPL, and fiduciary policies
- Business disputes
- State and nationwide class action defense
- Unfair business practices
- Employment
- Professional malpractice
- Product liability
- Construction defects/premises liability
