Insolvency Lawyer. 6 month assignment

We are currently working with a Global Firm in their search for an Insolvency Lawyer to join their team for a 6-month assignment to cover a period of leave. The role is tied to the firm’s London office, with two days per week office attendance required, and is due to start in Autumn 2024. Despite an autumn start date, the firm is looking to review applications and conduct interviews as soon as possible.

The team acts for insolvency practitioners, private equity houses, banks, pension schemes, asset based lenders, corporate entities, debtors, creditors and directors and they are adept in providing advice on contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency work, including matters involving fraud and complex cross border disputes.

The successful lawyer will be joining a small but well-regarded team and will work closely with two reputable Partners within the market. Exposure to a variety of high-quality work and a notable amount of autonomy can be expected.

The successful individual will likely be a qualified lawyer with upwards of 6 years’ experience in handling a full range of insolvency and restructuring matters at a city or international firm. An interest in and the ability to commit to a 6 month assignment is essential.
