We are working with one of the pre-eminent construction/engineering consultancies globally with offices in over 30 locations. They provide project management for some of the world’s most unique projects including buildings, infrastructure and environmental development schemes.
As the volume of work continues to grow, our client is looking for a UK legally qualified solicitor to join the in-house legal function where you will be based in the London or the South-West England office in a hybrid working model. Successful candidates will have experience in reviewing, reporting upon, negotiating and drafting a wide range of contractual documentation including consultancy and sub-consultancy agreements, collateral warranties, novation agreements, letters of reliance, letters of intent and joint venture agreements. There will also be some contentious requirements such as assisting the business with claims and disputes including appropriate communications with insurers.
Applicants must have at least 1 years’ experience working for law firms and/or the legal team of a construction/engineering group on UK projects such as buildings, city development and infrastructure.
Remuneration – Up to £70,000 depending on experience and location + comprehensive benefits package
