Our client, a highly regarded firm in London, is seeking an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer/Immigration professional Support Lawyer for a 12-month contract to cover a period of leave.
Our client’s Immigration team has a fantastic reputation within the Immigration sphere and boasts a great deal of experience advising businesses on the sponsorship of migrant workers under Tiers 2 and 5 of the points-based system, sponsor licence obligations and right to work policies. They also advise high net-worth individuals and their families on personal immigration matters and relocation to the UK. The team also frequently advises individuals and employers on EU law and the implications of Brexit.
- Working closely with the Immigration team in drafting, reviewing, maintaining and updating precedents, practice notes, checklists, toolkits and all other forms of know-how documents.
- Keeping the team abreast of new developments within Immigration law and legal challenges.
- Providing training
- Drafting and reviewing articles to be circulated to the team, clients and online forums, amongst other duties.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer/Immigration Professional Support Lawyer, or be an experienced Immigration Lawyer (with upwards of 5 years’ PQE) looking to move into a Knowledge Development/Professional Support role.
It is essential for the candidate to have a strong understanding of a full array of corporate and personal immigration matters. The successful candidate will also be qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales, with experience gained within a notable City, West End or top tier Regional team. The firm works on a hybrid working pattern.
