Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer, 12 month FTC

Our client, a highly regarded firm in London, is seeking an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer/Immigration professional Support Lawyer for a 12-month contract to cover a period of leave.

Our client’s Immigration team has a fantastic reputation within the Immigration sphere and boasts a great deal of experience advising businesses on the sponsorship of migrant workers under Tiers 2 and 5 of the points-based system, sponsor licence obligations and right to work policies. They also advise high net-worth individuals and their families on personal immigration matters and relocation to the UK. The team also frequently advises individuals and employers on EU law and the implications of Brexit.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Immigration team in drafting, reviewing, maintaining and updating precedents, practice notes, checklists, toolkits and all other forms of know-how documents.
  • Keeping the team abreast of new developments within Immigration law and legal challenges.
  • Providing training
  • Drafting and reviewing articles to be circulated to the team, clients and online forums, amongst other duties.

The successful candidate will have previous experience as an Immigration Knowledge Development Lawyer/Immigration Professional Support Lawyer, or be an experienced Immigration Lawyer (with upwards of 5 years’ PQE) looking to move into a Knowledge Development/Professional Support role.

It is essential for the candidate to have a strong understanding of a full array of corporate and personal immigration matters. The successful candidate will also be qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales, with experience gained within a notable City, West End or top tier Regional team. The firm works on a hybrid working pattern.
