Group Ethics and Compliance Manager

An exciting opportunity has come up with a FTSE 100 firm, that are looking for an experienced Ethics and Compliance Manager to join their London team. This will be part of the General Counsel’s team, and will report directly to the Group Head of Compliance & Ethics. This function will be responsible for the corporate compliance and ethics culture across the group. Within the group, they have separate business regulatory and compliance teams that look after their different regulated businesses.

Role responsibilities:

  • Managing and organising of group policies (library, intranet, ensuring consistency, templates, tracking approvals, editing policies, basic drafting, helping run the policy working group).
  • Liaising with internal training resources to schedule and deliver key global policy training (help organise translations, internal communications, etc.).
  • Managing the automated gifts and hospitality reporting system.
  • Managing the automated conflicts of interest reporting system.
  • Managing senior employee annual compliance declarations.
  • Updating the E&C intranet site (policies, new developments, etc.).
  • Managing and updating the overall E&C program implementation tracker, and helping with producing internal reporting in that regard.
  • Managing and updating the overall E&C program risk register.
  • Helping raise awareness of program initiatives and working with a variety of internal colleagues to implement program objectives.
  • Supporting the Modern Slavery working group and several compliance committees. 

Required experience:

  • Corporate Compliance and Ethics experience within a multinational organisation (ideally a listed entity)
  • Experience of compliance monitoring
  • Experience of delivering training to the business
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of delivering compliance or regulatory projects
