Our client, a Chambers USA recognized law firm, is looking to hire an associate to join its Government Contracts practice group in their Washington, DC office.
This is an opportunity to counsel and represent government contractors and subcontractors on a broad range of legal issues, including bid protests, organizational conflicts of interest, ethics compliance, and contract claims and disputes.
You will join a team who serve as “go-to” counsel on scores of high-stakes contracting matters; prosecuting and defending claims before the U.S. Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA); prosecuting and defending bid protests before the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), the U.S. Court of Federal Claims (COFC), and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; representing government contractors in disputes with the federal government, including claims under the Contract Disputes Act (CDA) and appeals of contracting officer final decisions to the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA) and the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals (CBCA).
Our client’s Government Contracts attorneys have been selected to the Advisory Councils of both the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, are active in industry associations and the federal procurement bar, serve on boards of industry organizations, and are routinely recognized by the business community for their expertise. Come join their deep bench!
