I have urgent instructions from a key international law firm client of mine, seeking a number of corporate or funds lawyer to join their rated Funds group in London. Funds experience is welcome but is not necessary, and indeed many of the group are from corporate/M&A teams in the City due to the top-end multi-jurisdictional nature of the work.
Lawyers in the group act for a premium and blue-chip client base including leading European fund managers and their counsel. Working across hedge funds, hybrid funds and private equity funds, you will be given excellent training, support and development opportunities.
Suitable applicants could be from funds, corporate, regulatory or banking teams at leading or mid-tier teams in the City, or from tier one teams in major Commonwealth jurisdictions. The ideal PQE level for these roles is 2.5 to 8 years’ PQE. However, we will consider particularly strong applicants outside of this level.
Pay is at high City level and work/life balance is very good for a firm of this size and calibre. There is also flexible working with a 50/50 hybrid working model across the month rather than the week, and very sensible chargeable hours targets.
