Financial Services Regulatory Associate – New York

Our client, a truly global, full-service law firm is looking to hire a mid-level associate in its market-leading financial services regulations team in New York or Washington DC.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in financial regulation or in a transactional or litigation practice, with significant exposure to financial regulation. Special attention will be paid to candidates who have knowledge of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, and the Securities Act of 1933, as well as the regulations governing them.

The successful candidate will have substantial client-facing responsibilities from day one, working closely with the firm’s financial regulatory partners and senior counsel. With a majority of its matters involving more than one office, the team develops and serves both its own client relationships and those of the broader firm network.

Candidates must be qualified in New York or Washington. Target hours are 2000 including 150 non-billables.
