We have instructions from our client, a well-established US firm, to recruit a financial services regulation lawyer with experience in asset management and funds, to join their well-regarded London-based team.
The role will focus on advising on financial services regulations in the UK and the EU, including concerning investments in various markets, the establishment of regulated and unregulated funds, and fund-raising options and initiatives.
The successful candidate will be England and Wales, or common law qualified with 2-5 years’ PQE at a recognised financial services regulation practice in the UK. A background and interest in areas regulated by the FCA and PRA, including asset management, broking, derivatives trading, payment services, banking, fintech, consumer financial services, insurance mediation, and money laundering, would be ideal.
