We are instructed by the Brussels office of a major global law firm, to find a mid/senior-level EU Competition/Antitrust Associate to join their fast-growing EU team.
Our client’s practice covers the full range of Competition and Antitrust issues, with a focus on:
- Merger Control filing and investigations
- FDI processes
- State Aid
- Behavioural investigations and proceedings – cartels, abuse of dominance etc.
- Interplay between antitrust and IP laws
They act for multinationals across a broad range of sectors, with an emphasis on highly regulated and innovative sectors.
You will be a mid/senior-level EU Competition Lawyer with experience and training gained at leading international law firms and institutions. You will have a strong record of academic achievement, ideally including a masters/LL.M. You will demonstrate intellectual rigour alongside sound commercial instincts.
Ideally, you will be a member of the Brussels Bar and/or another EU Member State. A strong command of English is essential, together with fluency in another European language.
