Our client is an international law firm, which specialises in helping ships and ports with various challenges, both in and out of the water. They assist with problems like accidents, pollution, and other issues related to ships, ports, and cargo. Their clients include ship owners, corporations, and insurance companies.
The Role:
As a part of their Bristol Energy Marine & Natural Resources team, you will play a vital role in a 12 month FTC. You will work closely with other teams, including their international colleagues. They are looking for someone with the following qualification, experience, and skills:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales with ideally, between 2-3 years’ PQE in handling marine insurance matters
- Experience in contentious litigation and arbitration matters relating to the marine sector, and obtained from notable City or International law firms
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and research skills
- Immediate availability or at short notice
This is a hybrid role, and the right candidate would need to attend the Bristol office two days per week.
