Employment Lawyer. 5+ PQE. 6 month assignment

Our client, a leading international law firm, is looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their ranked team in London for a 6 month assignment. Whilst the assignment is for an initial period of 6 months, there is potential for further extension.

The successful individual will be joining a tight-knit team in London and will have the opportunity to work closely with two notable Partners within the market.

The team has been ranked as one of the leading teams in the UK year on year and are known for the broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters they advise on for employer clients. Such matters include restructuring programmes; Tribunal and High Court litigation; day to day advice; recruitment and termination of executives; business transfers and outsourcings; international projects; team moves and the employment aspects of corporate transactions. The successful lawyer can expect to work on a caseload of roughly 50/50 contentious and non-contentious employment matters for Respondents.

Due to the nature of work and level of autonomy expected, it is likely that lawyers will be qualified in England & Wales and have upwards of 5 years’ PQE in handling a full range of contentious and non-contentious Employment Law matters. Ideally, lawyers will be happy to attend the London office 3-4 days per week, although there may be flexibility on this.
