Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm where about half of their practice group chairs are in the 30s and 40s, as are many members of their executive committee, is looking to hire an excellent associate to join its premier Employment practice group in their New York office.
If you have 3-6 years’ experience defending employment cases, and a broad understanding of federal and New York employment laws and regulations, we would be excited to explore this opportunity with you.
While your practice initially is expected to focus principally on defense of employment litigation, including single plaintiff and class action matters, as well as defense of arbitrations and administrative agency matters, your practice will also include counseling clients on a broad range of employment law issues; drafting and reviewing workplace policies and employee handbooks; drafting employment agreements and related documents; advising on wage/hour issues, leave of absences, and requests for accommodation; and conducting investigations.
We are looking for someone who is eager to build upon their prior employment litigation experience, and to develop a broad and rewarding employment practice working alongside colleagues who love what they do and who enjoy working collaboratively.
If you are a member or pending member of the New York State Bar and have 3-6 years’ relevant experience, this is an awesome opportunity to join a small, highly regarded team based in New York, whose attorneys practice at the highest level and who work with a diverse array of stellar clients.
Our client recognizes that great clients and colleagues have lots of options, so they’re open to looking for ways to meet your needs, as opposed to finding reasons they can’t. They won’t take you for granted or forget who works for whom. They’re a business dedicated to your success.
