Employment Associate – 12 Month FTC

We are currently seeking an Employment Associate with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a large international law firm in their London team, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters, working primarily for employers.

Matters may include but are not limited to; recruitment and termination of executives, restructuring programs, business transfers and outsourcings, Tribunal and High Court litigation, Day-to-day advice and counselling, International projects, Corporate transactions and Team moves.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and leading matters with limited supervision
  • Providing day-to-day employment law advice to clients
  • Handling and resolving technical legal issues
  • Representing the firm at business development events
  • Managing matters to agreed standards and within budget
  • Working efficiently as a team member

Qualifications required:

  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years of PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of employment law
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proven ability to manage and lead complex legal matters independently
