This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join a Caribbean-based law firm.
The role will involve working closely with the firm’s banking enforcement work, associated clients, third party vendors, as well as other parties on tenancy and property enforcement matters. The role will also support the dispute resolution team with routine aspects of litigation, research, document review, drafting legal documents and affidavits, and conveying routine legal information under supervision. The list of duties is extensive, and it will be necessary to undertake a wide range of assignments, including work for other departments when required.
Applicants must have extensive and relevant Paralegal experience, but this does not necessarily need to have been attained in the Caribbean. It is however, essential that applicants not currently based in the region have very strong links to the Caribbean, and can relocate to the region with ease and in a timely manner.
Applicants must have superb academics, a keen eye for detail, and strong organisational skills, as this position will suit someone who is proactive, and has suitable background and experience needed to be organised and on ‘top of the game’. The right candidate is not only a person who can work well in high stress environments, can deal with a high volume of work, but is also savvy with IT systems. Our client is looking for a “get the job done” type of personality, who is flexible and happy to go the ‘extra mile’.
