Our client is looking to offer the opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join their Development and House Building Team in Reading.
The team specialises in advising developers and landowners on long-term strategic acquisitions and disposals, as well as collaboration, consortium, and promotion agreements. In addition to this, there is also a focus on site assembly, both conditional and unconditional transactions, planning, and construction matters. They routinely advise clients on securing overage, clawback, and indexation payments, in addition to issues related to easements, covenants, and indemnity insurance. Our client’s team has secured itself in the development sector and has a far-reaching network of fellow professionals, these include architects, funders, planning consultants, surveyors, and accountants.
To be considered for this role, you will have a broad understanding of legal principles involved, as well as relevant experience and the desire to become an expert in this particular field. A minimum of 2 years’ PQE is required, preferably with the knowledge of development, funding, and strong experience of handling other property matters. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate an ability and willingness to complete marketing and business development and activities.
